RESUMO

Reynoutria japonica Houtt., belonging to Polygoneae of Polygonaceae, is a Chinese medicinal herb with the functions of draining dampness and relieving jaundice, clearing heat and detoxifying, dispersing blood stasis and relieving pain, and relieving cough and resolving phlegm. In this study, we carried out high-throughput sequencing for the chloroplast genome sequences of five cultivars of R. japonica and analyzed the genome structure and variations. The chloroplast genomes of the five R. japonica cultivars had two sizes (163 376 bp and 163 371 bp) and a typical circular tetrad structure composed of a large single-copy (LSC) region of 85 784 bp, a small single-copy (SSC) region of 18 616 bp, and a pair of inverted repeat (IR) regions (IRa/IRb) which are spaced apart. A total of 161 genes were obtained by annotation, which consisted of 106 protein-coding genes, 10 rRNA-coding genes, and 45 tRNA-coding genes. The total GC content was 36.7%. Specifically, the GC content in the LSC, SSC, and IR regions were 34.8%, 30.7%, and 42.7%, respectively. Comparison of the whole chloroplast genome among the five cultivars showed that trnk-UUU, rpoC1, petD, rpl16, ndhA, and rpl12 in coding regions had sequence variations. In the phylogenetic tree constructed for the 11 samples of Polygoneae, the five cultivars of R. japonica clustered into one clade near the root and was a sister group of Fallopia multiflora (Thunb.).

RESUMO

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To explore the effect difference between acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine of artificial cycle therapy on the basis of western medication and simple western medication for polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) of phlegm damp type with insulin resistance, and to explore its mechanism.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Sixty patients were randomly assigned into an observation group and a control group, 30 cases in each group. Patients of the control group began to take letrozole and metformin orally on the third menstrual day. Patients of the observation group were treated with acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine of artificial cycle therapy on the basis of the treatment of the control group. The main acupoints were Guanyuan (CV 4), Qihai (CV 6) and bilateral Zigong (EX-CA 1), Luanchao (Extra), Fenglong (ST 40), Yinlingquan (SP 9), Zusanli (ST 36), Sanyinjiao (SP 6). Dahe (KI 12) was matched in the follicular phase, and warm acupuncture was applied at Guanyuan (CV 4) and Qihai (CV 6); Zhongji (CV 3) and Xuehai (SP 10) were matched in the ovulatory phase, and electroacupuncture were used at Qihai (CV 6) and Zhongji (CV 3), Xuehai (SP 10) and Yinlingquan (SP 9), 2 Hz and continuous wave; The acupoints in the luteal phase were the above main acupoints, at the same time, moxibustion was used at Guanyuan (CV 4) and Qihai (CV 6), the treatment was given once every other day, 30 min a time. There was no treatment in the menstrual phase. Chinese medicine was applied for tonifying kidney and nourishing blood, strengthening spleen and eliminating phlegm. The patients of the two groups were treated for continuous three menstrual cycles. The indexes before and after treatment were detected, including serum microRNA-29 (miR-29) expression, TCM symptom score, insulin (INS), blood-sugar content and homeostasis model assessment-insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) index, the endocrine hormone values of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), testosterone (T), LH/FSH ratio, prolactin (PRL). The pregnancy rates of the two groups were compared.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>After treatment the expressions of miR-29 and TCM symptom scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment (<0.01,<0.05), with better results in the observation group (<0.01,<0.05). The levels of LH LH/FSH and T of the observation group were lower than those before treatment (<0.01,<0.05), and the T value in the control group decreased after treatment (<0.05). The changes of LH and LH/FSH in the observation group were better than those in the control group (both<0.05). After treatment, The INS, blood-sugar content and HOMA-IR were lower than those before treatment in the two groups (<0.05,<0.01), with better results for INS and HOMA-IR improvements in the observation group (both<0.05). The pregnancy rate in the observation group was 56.7% (17/30), which was significantly higher than 30.0% (9/30) in the control group (<0.05).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine of artificial cycle therapy can improve the endocrine levels and insulin resistance of PCOS with phlegm damp type. At the same time, the pregnancy rate is improved. By the view of molecular biology, there may be a pathway trough changing serum miR-29 expression.</p>

RESUMO

@#Chronic neck pain is a common chronic musculoskeletal disorder. Research on neck muscle fatigue contributed to the understanding the pathogenesis of chronic neck pain. The influences caused by the neck muscle fatigue, such as the change of cervical proprioception and balance, could easily lead to chronic injury. Changes in morphology and recruitment strategy of cervical muscle could decrease muscle endurance, which bring about further damage. Targeted therapy and training can relieve muscle fatigue, improve muscle function, and reduce the recurrence rate. Surface electromyography has unique advantages in the evaluation of cervical muscle fatigue. The assessment of muscle fatigue could provide for assistance to the treatment and curative effect of chronic neck pain.

RESUMO

Objective To explore the clinical diagnostic value of high frequency ultrasound on finger parenchyma tumor. Methods Twenty-two patients with finger parenchyma tumor were analyzed retrospectively by clinical and ultrasonographic characteristics including location, size, shape, echo, and color flow signals of tumors. Those findings were compared with pathological data after surgery. Results Out of 22 parenchyma tumor patients, tendosynovial giant cell tumor were present in 7 patients, fibrous tumor in 3 patients, glomus tumor in 5 patients, and ganglia in 7 patients. Differences between ultrasonographic appearances and pathologic features were found in parenchyma tumor. The tendosynovial giant cell tumors were demonstrated plentiful color flow signals and heterogeneous echoic mass without capsules. There was not found color flow signal but an intact membrane in tendosynovial fibrous tumors. Glomus tumors were hypoechoic with an intact membrane, abundant color Doppler signals, and Ⅲ level was classified by Alder. Ganglia were expressed in cystic structure. Conclusions Characteristic features of ultrasonographic appearance were found in different kind of parenchyma tumors. High frequency ultrasound is an effective method to diagnosis finger parenchyma tumor.
